Startup Challenge Regulations

Purpose:

These regulations have been formulated to provide a comprehensive set of rules and guidelines for individuals, companies and teams interested in taking part in the highly esteemed [Name of the Startup Challenge], which shall henceforth be referred to as "the Challenge." 

The Challenge seeks to foster innovation and entrepreneurship by offering a platform for startups to demonstrate their ideas and vie for recognition and rewards.

Eligibility:

The Challenge is open to individuals, companies or teams who have developed a startup business idea.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Startups at any stage of development are eligible to apply.

Participants may be required to provide proof of concept or a minimum viable product (MVP) during the application process.

Application Process:

Participants must submit their applications through the designated online platform or via email by the specified deadline.

Applications should include a description of the startup idea, business model, target market, and any relevant supporting materials.

All applications must be original and not infringe upon any intellectual property rights of third parties.

The deadline to participate to the challenge is May, 15th

Selection Criteria:

The selection of participants will be based on the novelty, feasibility, market potential, and scalability of the startup idea.

A panel of judges appointed by the organizing committee will evaluate the applications and select the finalists.

Finalists may be required to attend 1:1 sessions with members of the organizing committee, pitch their ideas to the judging panel or present a demo of their product or service.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Challenge, as determined by the judging panel.

The value and nature of the prizes will be determined by the organizing committee and may include cash awards, mentorship opportunities, incubation support, or other resources to help the winning startups grow their businesses.

Judging Criteria:

The judging panel will evaluate the startup pitches based on various criteria, including innovation, market potential, feasibility, team capability, and scalability. The specific judging criteria will be communicated to the participants in advance to help them prepare and align their presentations accordingly.

Confidentiality:

All information provided by participants will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of evaluating their applications.

The organizing committee and judges will take appropriate measures to safeguard the confidentiality of participants' proprietary information.

Intellectual Property:

Participants retain full ownership of their intellectual property rights.

By participating in the Challenge, participants grant the organizing committee the right to use their names, images, logo, and likenesses for promotional purposes related to the Challenge.

Code of Conduct:

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the organizing committee.

Any form of plagiarism, cheating, or unethical behavior will result in disqualification from the Challenge.

Amendments:

The organizing committee reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.

Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising from the Challenge will be resolved by the organizing committee, whose decision shall be final and binding.

Acceptance:

By participating in the Challenge, participants agree to abide by these regulations and any decisions made by the organizing committee
